|History of Lookout Lodge
Lookout Lodge was custom designed and built to be our family’s vacation home. It is our love for the mountains and the outdoors that led us to build this home. You’ll find that we’ve taken great care and concern in the planning and construction of this home, as well as in the decorations and furnishings. Unlike many “log cabins”, it is constructed of solid round stacked logs, not frame with log siding. Tennessee stacked stone was used not only on the foundation but also on the 2 massive fireplaces that are centered in the home. Construction began in March 2002 and was completed in June 2003. Lookout Lodge was built by Clifford Loveday of Loveday Builders.
